Making Toast!

When I found out that our assignment this week was to draw the process of making toast, I immediately thought of this great Canadian Heritage gem that played every time I watched TV growing up:

I always thought the ability to draw was some magical talent that you were born with, but after watching the assigned videos this week (Ole Qvist-Sørensen and Graham Shaw) I realized that anyone can draw, if they put their mind to it. Not only draw, but drawing to convey a message which can be useful in a variety of settings. I also came to the realization that I can draw, maybe not as well as some truly talented artists, but I sure can draw to tell a story. I can see myself using this in my story boarding at work, and the many team meetings we have. I wish I  would have known about these videos a few weeks ago when I was designing my mock up of my infographic. It would have been much easier to just draw what I was visualizing instead of writing simple words.

Without further ado, here is my AMAZING drawing of the process of making toast! I’m especially proud of it! Enjoy!
